Hi all, is it possible and how easy is it to convert a BB firing tank to an IR one? I have a Pershing and a Tiger both Teigan.

I am interested in same topic. But with Pz. III and Panther, both seems to be HL (but with torro sticker on radio). Not exactly on IR, but on recoil, I do not plan to play IR battles.

Dont know with the Pershing, but Tigers and Pz III/IV's are basicly just swapping out parts. Scroll down a bit on the link and you will find a recoil unit with Flash. Dont forget to get an IR emitter/Receiver as well

Which sort of IR are you looking at? The HL system won't work with Clark/IBU/Elmod/Tamiya etc as they all operate on a different type of system. HL IR can only battle against HL tanks. The cheapest of industry standard boards is a Clark TK22, though I think there is an HL converter available from Australia if you wanted to take that route.
To install an HL IR system you will need an apple, plus the HL wiring loom for the IR. You could make your own if you can solder, it is only 5 wires, an IR emitter, and 4 sensors. It all plugs straight into the board. There are no hit led's, the tank does a wiggle when it is hit.
