IBU2 Pro not recieving IR code.

I have worked through most of the issues I have except the tank isn't taking hits. I know the TBU base works because I used it to setup a clark. I also swapped recievers.
The IR emmiter does work.

Thoughts?

I've never heard of an ibu not taking ir signals, so would suggest the wiring.

IR wiring between systems is different and all though technically the same are not quite.

Clark uses 2.5mm JST-XH 5 pin plug, the pin arrangement is the same as the tamiya 2mm molex connection and the 2mm IBU2/3. Although plugging the same plug into the IBU2/3 IR doesn't work because the JST-XH on the IBU2/3 is wired for heng long and Taigen where the pin arrangement is different.

Thanks, but I am refering to the reciever AKA battle unit / Apple. The emmiter is stock Tamyia and works fine. So in short you can shoot other tanks but can't be hit.

So are the different reciever ports configured to only recieve the code for the type of model they came from? IE the HL and Taigen only reads HL code and the Tamyia only reads Tamyia, Elmod, Clark etc?

It will only accept tamiya ir code.

What wiring between tbu base and ibu are you using and where you plugging into ibu?

I have the clark TBU base plugged into the HL IR port. The clark TBU base is used for the Tamiya batle unit on thier system. Incase you aren't familiar.

You need to plug into the tamiya IR port. Plugged in the hl port with a tamiya base and I just triggered the hit indicator every time I shot but no hits taken.

That's correct plugging the Clark plug into the hang long ir socket won't work, as I said last night the pin configuration are different.
