I hate you all, hate, hate, hate...how come you guys can do this and I can't, it's a travesty of modelling justice. Here is my selection, just to give some consolation to those who like me, have no idea about how this is done properly. If anyone wants to do a lengthy, step by step how-to then please do, showing preperation, colours used etc, and 'lots' of pics!

Don't do yourself down Rob! My excuse is a misspent youth of game workshop figure painting, they're ostensibly 28mm compared to our 120mm, painting eyes on em was a bitch!
looking at you're figures rob nothing wrong with the neatness and technique, I think a slightly different colour pallet could make them really pop.
I've seen mig has a flesh tones set out which I'm going to buy. I've got some figures for Andy which will be getting this treatment so I'll try and do a run down and step by step then.
I'm very much of the layering school, building up gradually with thin layers, I don't use washes or inks on my figures faces at least, but it's something I've been meaning to look into.

Oh for God's sake Tom, just when I thought I couldn't sink any lower.....posting those was so cruel.

Very nice Tom, especially like the details on the faces

the 1st idf commander looks really cool, is that figure in production or did you make it yourself ?
Cheers, Lee.
