I'm having issues getting this thing sorted. I can't load the ibu sound files. I'm getting a .wav file error??? When I press play I hear the speaker turn on. So the that function works.
Another issue is that after I have set the radio up and run the test (motors and smoker work) and disconnect the radio will not drive, shoot or anything. I did pressed the write funtion after setup.
The tamyia recoil unit continuosly cycles.

I flashed the firmware but that didn't help the issue.

Did I get a DUD???

Have you tried changing the tamiya recoil pulse time to a lower number?

Must be .wav files of 22050mh 16 bit or the ibu 3 sound files from the ibu web site or rctankelectronics. or they woulnt work.

recoil continuously firing may be you have the wires on the recoil plug the wrong way round ,I had to take wires out the plug and replace the other way round ,The instructions will explain this.

the soundfiles you try to load , are they ibu2 ,'own' made, ore ibu files you DL from Ian ?

The files are from the IBU site. I even attempted to load the tiger wav file from the DL section on this site. Both had the same result.

I also unblocked the files on my pc so i know thats not the reason.

I did'n see this in the instruction. The manual says it is a Tamyia PnP plug like the battle unit plug.

If you look at the manual addendum 1 it says if recoil constantly works then change wires around ,there is a picture .

Thanks. My manual says this about the Taigen unit not the Tamiya unit.

Any idea why I can not load an IBU sound file or the unit doesn work after I disconnect my USB and power up?

BTW I bought this from IAN. It wasn't a clearance item as some have had trobbles with.

I'm very certain Ian can help you out. He has been very helpful to me with anything I've purchased from his website
