You're all familiar with the turning of lead into gold-or shit into sugar, well, heres a $2 H/L StuG dog holding crew man about to become a Tiger ammo loader for my PzIII schlepper ....................

I have the shell ase to put in is arms.
Credit to Mr Von Runstedt of NBRCTC for the figure painting.

Herman I must admit I've never been a fan of that figure from my Stug III but I have to admit the old fella looks excellent

Mr Rainford, the 'common language' thing being what it is..................we try to confine discussions about ones "old fella" to private moments , but Im glad you are happy with yours !! :haha: :{ :haha:

As for that figure, agree , hes a bit ordinary, but with the way hes been transformed, and is likely to get a white bed sheet over throw(out of a teabag or similar) he should come out even betterer. Once I get the shell case on him, I will repost to show the peacock from the ugly duckling

I get ya, but A- I dont have the Verlinden stuff
B- I wouldnt waste them on it
C- Hes going to be a secondary feature on the tank
Once I try a sheet on him, he should blend in with the PzIII quite well.
I have an MG42 to put on the deck next to the open tarp cover once hes in place.

Got to be said, I think that is the best transformation of an HL figure I have ever seen. Top job!!

Good morning,
Looks better than any of mine and I have been trying for years to make the HL figure set look like something. The Best, 'Sarge' and the 'Most Unique', Crazy Joe barely come close to the cool uniform and happy face of this fellow. Eyes too!
