I've been making my Flak 38's basket mesh using window screen which works, but really needs some wrangling to attach and doesn't have the sag of actual netting.

Does anyone know of a good material that might work?

Also, any idea if the basket net was always the same type or did it vary between screen, fish net, etc in some way based on date, unit or theater?
