i love kingtigers! as my first tank i ever got was a tamiya 1/16 static king tiger, but i changed it last year to a jagdtiger, am kinda regretting it now as i really want an RC king tiger. but i cant afford a tamiya one or a matorro one, do you think i should attmept changing my jagdtiger back? with enough time im sure i could do it, would take ages and some of the KT parts are on my other models so will have to pinch them back
or do you think i should sell my jagdtiger on, its really not in the greatest of shapes but looks great i think am proud of it. was going to sell it a while back but the only people interested were from over seas and i didnt really want it leaving the country (silly i know) but i would like to sell it to someone whos intentions were to keep it not scrap it for bits, it has HL gearboxes in it at the moment (i made it rc a while ago) it kinda worked but wasnt strong enough to drive properly.
so if anyone has any suggestions of what i should do please say so! it will be much appreciated thanks

Can you post a pic it would help and maybe some one will make you an offer .

One option if you did'nt modify the chassis is to buy a King Tiger upper hull and turret and fit them back on the chassis, that way you could have both and just swap the hulls over when you want

yeah okays good idea here are a few pictures i took recently of it.
and thanks keith another good idea i uset to do that with my HL tiger as i also had a panther shell. might consider doing that if i have enough funds.

it looks like you are missing some road wheels also . let me know which ones i may have some spares wheels and arms

i think i might have the arms and road wheels somewhere but have kind of lost track of them, the road wheels kept coming apart so i had to take them off

Right well ive just put my Tamiya king tiger porsche turret back together, took qa while but its not looking too bad
am just thinking now if i can put it back onto the king tiger chassis, will ofcourse have to strip all the jagdtiger parts or do i attempt to sell it on and buy a new king tiger (matorro)??

Just remembered that Steve @welsh dragon models has Tamiya King Tiger stock parts for sell,each seperate spru/tree of parts.Perhaps the turret and upper hull are all you need to convert.Just a thought hope it helps. Sax

have been redoing the jagdtiger and have now turned it back into a king tiger heres what it looks like so far white the white base coat.

right well no one seems that interested but anyway an update! lol
i decided to rebuild the tamiya hull as i noticed when i built it when i was like 10 i built the road wheels wrong so this week ive been rebuilding them all, and put the heng long gear boxes and electronics into the hull. so here are some pictures of what the tank looks like. sometime will get a better camera to take pictures with
