I agree, but there should be some written expectations for what an out-of-box review should be and include. That way, when you open a link, you know what information will be included in the review. I would want to see:
Detailed photos of:
Each bit and part (sprues, HL accessories, etc)
upper & lower hulls (all sides and top/bottom)
turret including main gun tube and muzzle brake (all sizes and top)
road wheels, sprockets, idlers, return rollers
tracks
decals, tank commander, etc
Write-up that lists:
gearboxes and motors
electronics (MB, LEDs, wiring, slip rings, servos, etc)
initial impressions of body flex, suspension, etc
detail accuracy
That's all off the top of my head right now. Basically, any question you would want answered or shown before you buy something.
