Hi mate. Is not possible to tell you what receiver you can use if we dont know what module you are using.

Im using this module: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-dss ... tore=en_us

And this receiver: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-9x- ... er-v2.html

Some people recommends you to buy the frsky modules and receivers which have better quality and are way more expensive... For a plane/drone I would not say no, but for a tank I think they are overkill.

I dont know how was the spartan tracks's radio, but if you see that something is missing behind is that it lacks a module.

The two best things of the module that I showed you, is that is cheap, and uses the internal antenna of your radio.

Lucky if you just want a plain Jane 8 channel module and receiver than the Hobbuking DSSS and the receiver is the way to go. You can also use the Hobby King Orange V2 T6A module as well as it is a little smaller and cheaper but only offer 6 channels.

The more expensive module and receiver allows you to do model matching as well as 16 Channel support.
