If you have lots of images there check your a/c.

They just did some upgrade, as usual without telling anyone about it first. One thing they changed is the password handling, now if your password isn't "strong" (min 6 characters, some case shifting letters & numbers but no spaces) even if it was working before it no longer is as the site wont accept it effectively blocking you from your own images.

Reset your password, easy peasy! Just did mine.

I cant as it wont let me access the a/c to reset it.

Go to log in, type in your email address they have, below that is a forgot my password link...click it. They will send you an email to the account you just typed with a link to reset your password. Once you reset it you should be fine.

I CANT LOG IN or access the "forgotten password" because of the existing "bad" password. The system seems to think I'm some kind of malware.

Are you SURE you're not malware?


I just double checked on my laptop follow these steps and unless you ARE a bad bot it should work for you.

Step #1 Google search Photobucket.
Step #2 Click the main link it will say Photobucket with Photobucket.com/ written directly under it.
Step #3 Click the login icon in the upper right corner.
Step #4 Will be your log in options. It says Login to Photobucket gives you the choice of logging in through your facebook or twitter accounts then it says OR and has Email OR user name and under that it has password and log in and remember me box. You want to click the very next line that says "Forgot user name or password" Click on this spot.
Step #5 A new page opens that says "Need Help Logging In? and below it are listed 3 more links to click on. The first is "I don't know my password" Next "I don't know my user name" and last is "I can't access the email I signed up with"

Click the link you want to use and follow the instructions from there and as long as you ARE in fact the REAL Mr.Spam In A Can you'll be fine. However if you are a bad bot bent on world domination and the total enslavement of man kind then you're screwed as you should be!

Seriously though the above SHOULD work for you man but you may need a laptop or desktop I'm not sure if the Photobucket mobile thing works the same way. I literally was just tripple checking on the Photobucket site as I typed this out for you. I really hope this helps, if not I'm totally stumped, maybe look for a contact us option and see if you can talk to a person if the above for some reason doesn't work for you.

Well, Pinky, it worked, sort of.

You had the right idea logging in independent of FireFox, but even after logging in I had the same problem confirming my old (now not recognizable) password.
What I had to do was log in using FaceBook (who's password to my a/c there was recognized) THEN change the login for PhotoBucket using the FaceBook login to let me change it, & then logging off of both FB & PB! Next I had to log back in through FireFox using the new password to get IT to recognize & store the new password!

This a good thing, and you're bucket is safe.

I have never had any problems with logging in, and I use it Most Days.

Yeah, but the problem was they changed it AGAIN & my password was no longer recognized.
I hope at least my images are still scattered all over the interweb at least
