HL Sherman M4A3 repaint and mods

Decided to repaint my standard Sherman with all the basic stowage and commander but make it look as good as I can. Stowage included some 105mm shell crates from a 1/18 static Sherman, fuel cans and ammo boxes. Tarps were made from plasticard cut to shape and heated with a DIY heat gun, folded and shaped. The commanders right arm was cut at the elbow and wrist, repositioned and the gaps filled with Milliput. He's held on with magnets.

The smoker pump was replaced by a fan but otherwise it's still as standard.

Hope you like.

She looks great, especially given how bare the original Heng Long M4 is on arrival. I really like the tarps and how you created them and need to give it a try myself. I may have hedgerow cutters on the brain having just made some in 3d, but depending on what theater or time period you are aiming for, adding a set of "teeth" to the differential could look nice.

Get those tracks off and get them painted like real tracks then muddied up, its gonna look so much better. ( that track pattern always confused me) The stowage and commander look great! 8)
