Taigen - summerish time will be their Pz IV with metal hull
Waltersons - T72

I'm in the dark what the other two big companies are releasing.

HengLong?
Tamiya?

Anyone know.

Knowing Tamiya, something based on an existing hull.

Heng Long, probably another mbt.

Hey Adam, I thought I might of missed something as it's been a while since I've seen any news from these two..would be a bummer if H/L released another MBT tho imo.

Fat chance  Perhaps we could start one of those .Gov petitions up. All that's needed is 100,000 likeminded bods :) to protest, and the UK Parliament has to discuss it (unless it's anything to do with immigration..of course :shh: ). I can just imagine PMs question time and the debate about why British tanks are being airbrushed out of WW2 history; and that nobody makes models of them bigger than a measly 1/35 !!!
All that said, I'm interested in the rumoured Taigen Pz4 metal hull prospect. Meantime, I think we should lobby Taigen to get their fingers out.. :-< .or, maybe lobby the half-scottish President :haha:

Much as I would like a DECENT PZ4 Metal Hull the forthcoming version appears to have its own built in failings,
The Asiatam Metal Hull for all its multitude of limitations at least had the rollers in their correct positions which the prototype Taigen Metal Hull doesn't and until the failings in the suspension of this or any 1/16 PZ4 hull are properly addressed I for one will not be prepared to spend money on it,
I get my pleasure from building r/c Armour and along the way I fix the odd problem but being a non stop development engineer is for other people.
Shaun.

If tamiya are releasing new stuff even if on existing chassis I'd be happy. To be fair 2/3 the last releases have been totally new.

Very true mate.

Trouble is the Type 10 didn't really appeal to the eu market and the jagdpanzer is too much money. £650 is a bit much for a td Panzer IV.

I'm holding out for a bit. Imex plans to have the rear return roller adjusted to the right location and they'll also have the winter tracks. I think that's worth the wait.
