The instructions say "This is your negative (-) recoil return, and it needs to be wired to the negative (-) on your battery or power switch. So, my first problem is it's red, secondly where do I attach it, are the red wires on the on/off switch negative or positive? Cheers.

Good morning,
If you have one of the old HL antenna leads, you can replace that one if you need more length. Otherwise, attach that length of wire to the black wired terminal there. Make sure not to have it or your solder touch the positive terminal right next to it.

LOB,
That's correct. The black wires on your Battery and On\Off switch are the negative terminals. The Negative\Ground wire from your recoil unit just happens to be red. The ones on my KV-2 and StuG were red as well.

Something went wrong somewhere, when I turn the tank on, it fires once with flash, the tracks recoil, the main gun fires over and over by itself, but the barrel recoil doesn't work.

I wired the red recoil wire to the black terminal on the right in the picture, wrong?

Good Afternoon.
Wrong. You should have soldered it to the two black wires on the On\Off switch. The plugs going into the MFU itself have other functions and I'm not sure what hooking the recoil ground into them might do. best to back out this piece of work and use the On\Off switch.

That's what I did, in the pic it shows the on/off switch, with the black wires on the far right terminal, this is where I attached the red wire from the recoil unit, that's right yeah? Sry if I didn't write my reply properly. I meant the far right terminal on the on/off switch.

LOB,
I'm looking at the supplied picture and I cannot see the red wire attached to those two black Negatives. Maybe the same picture from earlier got uploaded by mistake?

EDIT: I fixed it, well Forgebear did, I had to "if the gun flashes and keeps recoiling it needs to be reset
so gently hold the barrel and fire the gun it should then reset ", cheers.
