Hi,
This is a Russian SU-152 tank killer. It is the Juckenburg conversion resin kit mounted on a standard Heng Long KV-1 chassis and electronics. Although it looks good, I was disappointed by the kit. The gun is just a solid blob of resin and is in need of a metal replacement in order to get some action in it. The head lamps needs to be replaced by one that looks good, but unavailable on the market it seems. And the shape of the casemate has a major flaw, it is sloped towards the rear while all my references indicate it should be flat. But it is a good runner, and is impressive by it weight and simplicity.

I know how you feel about the kit, there are a lot of inaccuracies that need fixing. I'm in the middle of one myself, and ended up cutting a whole five millimetres off the front of the casement to get the roofline level try to get the armour angles correct. Had I known more about the kit or if I'd been able to see it prior, I probably wouldn't have bought it and just scratchbuilt everything myself. I'm committed now though, and enjoying working on it.

Still, you've done a fantastic job with yours; a great paintjob and weathering can disguise those kinds of minor flaws from anyone who isn't actively looking for them. Top-notch, like all your armour Louis!
