Hi guys I have a Clark TK24 and JR pcm 9X 2 Transmitter.
My problem is the turret traverse and the main gun are on the same stick movement.
My transmitter is mode 2. which is left stick foreword CH1 and left & right CH4.
Right stick foreword is CH3 and left & right CH2.
Can you help me out as its doing my head in.

How do you wish your transmitter to operate? It is a bit confusing as it would appear from your post that both sticks are currently the same.

I'd like the throttle and steering on the left stick and the rest on the right stick.
I'm looking at the instructions and the stick movements are all over the place. My problem is the turret traverse and the main gun elevation are on the same stick movement.
and its doing my head in. LOL

Adrian, unfortunately Clark set-up is such that there is very little different between traverse and elevation (i.e. same left/right movement, but you have to be slightly offset for elevation whereas traverse is suppose to be at trim zero). I would suggest that you make sure all the trim are set to zero and see if it is big enough difference for you.

If you want something completely different, you can move elevation to a pot channel on the radio if you have a spare pot channel.

What i found was if I moved the elevation stick forward slightly before moving to the left or right, I got elevation without turret rotation. I have to confess, it can be tricky. It took me quite a time before I could do it consistently.

The other trick I did, which would involve additional channels and quite a bit of programming, is to move the firing function to a switch. You can very easily do that if you have a "Throttle Cut" switch which most radios would have and make it to be firing canon. After that, you can reduce the trim on that stick so that when you go max up it is still only 30%, so now if you go max up left and max up right you get elevation, and if you leave it level left/right becomes traverse.

I see your radio looks like a fancying computer type, you might be able to use channel mixing to movemfunctions onto stocks. On my tk60 I've set it up such that the left stick does rotation left and right, elevation up and down and the rest of the functions on switches.

Hi guys I've got to say this the sound is so much better than the stock system. My Tiger sounds like a Tiger should.
I up graded the speaker with a large speaker and box from Forgebear.
I love the sounds now.
