would just like to say to whoever thought it would be funny to phone me on Saturday from a withheld number and put on a funny voice to shout obscenities at me, its probably best not to do it with sounds of tanks in the background as it sort of narrows the field...and the number you have is my old phone which now belongs to my 10yr old son, who took the first call...if you want, PM me Ill give you my new number and maybe we can arrange something....

And that is why my Address/Phone number and any other way of identifying me and my family stay private from the web including my delivery address which is actually poste restante.
Shaun.

I'm sure the Police can act. Use of a carrier service for threat or harassment is an offence here and in most countries. I would go to the Police and piss on old mates chips big time.
I had an issue once, told the Australian Federal Police that I would race them to get the culprit.
Posted a pic of me with an AK on social media the started banging on doors of suspects.

Yeah, I got there first and the AFP were in panic mode.

Please keep us informed of how this developed and if it turns out anyone here knows anything of this but decides to remain silent, then the culprit is linked to any club or organisation, they and all remotely connected will be banned immediately.
If anyone has an idea on who the weak individual is, best clear it up before many are tarred.

Guilt by association folks
How would you feel if your kid was threatened?

Sorry Mr Frank, the world is loaded with dickheads and now it seems we've got a new one.

Thanks guys...I've contacted the phone company but as its a one-off they're not really interested..I've been advised to contact the police so will go from there...like you say it's the fact my lad has got involved which has upset me the most....maybe whoever it was will have the balls to come forward and we can have it out once and for all...but I doubt it..

Good afternoon,
This is just the latest issue with bumholery that has hit the Forum and the members. Looking back over the years, I cannot ever remember Spam and Trollery at the levels that have currently been seen. We've had internal issues that have caused recent Bans and those were the first that I can remember on here as well. None of those guys strike me as the sort to pull something like this latest stunt, tho. I'm very sorry to hear that this has affected you and your family, Frank. We need to stand closer together as Hobbyists and Forum Members to keep this kind of BS from becoming the norm like it sadly is at other places online.
regards,
Painless

Hi Frankie, firstly I'm sorry you have had this problem with some brain dead mental defective. Is there not a facility on your sons phone to block calls from withheld numbers? It might be worth investigating as it would save you both a lot of hassle. It might even be worth changing the number on the phone with a new sim card. If it's PAYG then Giffgaff are pretty good - I've been with them now for about 4 years.

Hope you don't have any more problems with this fool anyway.

Best regards
Alwyn
