Hi all, I'm looking at converting my Tamiya 105 Sherman into an Easy Eight, but I'm having trouble finding the turret. Forgebear have been out of stock for a while now, and I can't find any other shops with them. Could any of you fine fellows point me in the direction of one?
Many thanks

Hi, Whenever I need Tamiya bits my first port of call is ----
www.axels-modellbau-shop.de
After that "Jasons" is the last resort. I hope that helps.
Shaun.

Niether the Tamiya or Jumbo turrets are correct for an easy8...youre choices are...
Mato M4a1 turret(not the best but can be improved)
Taigen metal T23 turret...
Nick Agular resin conversion...
Schumo resin turret....

My own choice would be last two positions, the best choice is Schumo turret, but it seems that they wouldn't be available for some, possibly long, time. Nick Aquilar turret is the second best possibility. MK modellbau, by the way, has a T 23 turret, too..,

Yes. I think the T23 turret was developed to accommodate the 76mm cannon, and was initially part of the equipment programme for the Later Pershing M26 model.
