I want to remove the thick paint that surrounds the tools on my P.IV, does anyone know what paint they use on these?

I'm still trying to figure out what "think paint" is.

Thick paint is a paint that looks at my Camo pattern and still goes where I don't want it to go
For non Brits Thick is another way of describing a simpleton.
The Paint of Taigen, Torro, and Heng Long is a water based Acrylic paint.

I believe IPA (isopropyl alcohol) will do the trick, but I would suggest trying it on an area hidden from view, just in case. It is normally administered using a cotton bud, but I am not sure that will be small enough if you wish to get into the joints between the tools. Perhaps a cocktail stick would do the trick.
Obviously there are other possibilities, which I will be interested to read about.

As Richard says "Isopropanol" which is better known as Acrylic Thinners is the best way to get Acrylic paint off,
You can buy it from "Tamiya" for £9 @ 250ml or you can go to "Maplins" and buy "Isopropanol"Trade name "Servisol" for £15 @Litre,
Same stuff but more than half price cheaper.

Was rewarded for House and dog sitting, by a grateful friend, with a Litre of Patron Tequila (80 proof..). It will strip tonsils, stomach lining and..yes..in all probability, water-based acrylics on a Taigen tank too.

Cool, send me a "small" sample and I'll try that.
