Yes it's very impressive how did you dust it up? I'd like to know your technique

Thanks.
After giving it the basic colours and adding scratches to the paint work I sprayed the whole tank with a very thin coat of a light smokey Grey/Brown (I mixed myself). This dulls it all down a bit. Then give it a coat of gloss varnish. I use clear wood varnish mixed with artists turpintine (not Turps).
Then I spray it with a light brown colour. The whole tank gets a light dusting but I do more layers the lower I go. Dark brown next but this time I only spray the lower parts. Leave it to dry over night.
I give it two washes starting with light brown then dark brown making sure I leave some streaks. Then I add just a few black streaks. Again leave it to dry over night then give the whole tank another dusting of my smokey Grey/Brown mix, leave to dry then add a few coats of matt varnish.
It won't win any beauty competitions but it looks good on my shelf and when it's running around.

Now I know why I haven't weathered any of my tanks.

Great outcome though.
