M4A3 "Escape the Game" 76/M36B/Persherman
Re: M4A3 "Escape the Game" 76/M36B/Persherman
There's a square mounting plate just to the rear of the hatches..
remember...it's just a plastic tank...

Frankie any chance you would turn this into a build? You have quite the knack for Sherman's and this is actually a very nice looking tank even with just being fitted upfrankie wrote:There's a square mounting plate just to the rear of the hatches..
Tanks alot....

I'd probably do one if I ever got a spare Pershing turret, yes..but like I say, this ones already destined for a Pershing build...
remember...it's just a plastic tank...

It might not as crazy as you think...Max-U52 wrote:I agree with Jackalope. The "Yellow 14", if you name it as they do some German fighter planes. Hey, there's an idea - the Yellow 14 Sherman vs the Yellow 14 Bf109! One of those crazy psychotic duels in the desert between machines that were never meant to fight each other! Next thing you know, Hollywood will come knocking wanting to make a film out of it (starring Jean Claude Van Damme!). Just don't forget your mere mortal buddies here once you get rich and famous.

Interesting little video, but even my wild imagination couldn't quite suspend enough disbelief for that one. A P-51 has a stall speed of 95 miles per hour so if the P51 was able to lift off the ground and then the t34 smack the rudder with that Barrel the t-34 would have had to have been moving at close to a hundred miles per hour. I know they were fairly fast for their day but that's pushing it a bit.

This is Hollywood ( or some other low budget movie maker) where anything is possibleMax-U52 wrote:Interesting little video, but even my wild imagination couldn't quite suspend enough disbelief fot that one. A battle between my sherman and the yellow 14 Bf 109 would be like that, maybe....MaybeRaminator wrote:It might not as crazy as you think...Max-U52 wrote:I agree with Jackalope. You'd have a much tougher opponent than the T-34 did. While the six .50 cals in the Mustang ain't no joke, the Bf109 could be armed with one to three 20mm cannons. That's a significant increase in fire power, and should be able to at least take the tracks off a Sherman.

If the sherman needs help, My M1A1 Abrams is there to assist it. Not really a duel now is it? not a fair one atleastMax-U52 wrote:You'd have a much tougher opponent than the T-34 did.
