How to remove enamel paint?

Hi guys. I have some tank crew that I would like to repaint again. A Tamiya sherman tank commander and a couple of heng long ones. I painted them with revell enamels (It seems that revell and humbrol are exactly the same) I would like to remove the paint without damaging the figures. What do you use for it? I've seen that some people uses brake liquid for acrilics, not sure if it works with enamels.

Thanks!

Hi, I have used fairy powerspray on scalextric figures in the past with good results, pour the spray into a container and soak the figures, take
them out once the paint starts lifting and scrub them with a toothbrush (THE WIFES) :haha:
repeat the process until clean, had them soaking for several weeks, worked for me.
Try one figure first to make sure its ok on that type of plastic,
regards john.

Castrol Super Clean...is the best answer so I've read. Cleaning enamel pants off plastic is very difficult as it eats into the plastic apparently. CSC sounds the best as it does not affect the plastic and works.

Try Isopropyl alcohol, if you can get hold of some, I've used it in the past and worked fine.

Car brake fluid takes off paint down to plastic.
It's nasty stuff though - careful how you use it !
