S**t from Shinola...

Our American cousins have a choice expression for someone who's a tad dateless (first heard it in 'The Jerk', with Steve Martin- in the days when he was funny..): "..He doesn't know S**t from Shinola!..". In the UK that's usually expressed as "He doesn't know his Ar*e from his elbow."
Well, there should be a new figure of speech for the crooked lawyer, who's been bringing bogus human rights compensation cases against British soldiers, who served in Iraq and Afghanistan.
It should be: " He doesn't know Sh*t from Shiner".......
(Lawyer: Phil Shiner..allegedly..)

I just saw that Roy, How can a British citizen even think of doing this,
I am really angry that all that appears to be happening to the TRAITOR is he is struck off.
I would be striking off various tender parts of his anatomy if he were in range,
Shaun.

Would it be OTT to call him a parasite? Must check on the unofficial Army website A.R.R.S.E to see if a queue's forming to perform that very emasculation you've envisaged.
My Dad would turn in his Urn, if he knew what contemptible sh**ts are allowed a public platform in this land.

As would all the former Tommies and Airmen in my family.

Hi It dosnt surprise me in the least, the country is going down hill fast, Bent politicitions claiming all sorts expenses classic was the duck house and moat draining. Crash for cash is another scam ,then you have major companies not paying tax on vast profits ,Bankers paying them selves millions in bonuses while paying billions in fines. So lawyers jumping on the band wagon make false claims dose not surprise me.
on a personal note just put me on the jury of any ex- service man I know who I would believe when they are testifying
regards pete

I might have mentioned this before,
Many years ago after Briefing the platoon they were lined up for a final check before getting on the trucks,
"Oh Good oh, Rape and Pillage" said one soldier,
"PLATOON HALT" Screamed the Sgt Major,
He drew his Browning Hi Power from its holster and said
"If any man is caught by me indulging in ANY unmilitary activity I shall shoot him where he stands, IS THAT UNDERSTOOD"

Everybody did,
Soldiers are human beings with all the weaknesses of any man BUT when it comes to criminal behaviour you are more likely to be punished in the field long before a Courts Martial or civil trial takes place, which does not mean such behaviour has not or does not happen but it is very rare and harshly punished when it is discovered.
If you have ever been interrogated by the Royal Military Police Criminal Investigation Branch even as a witness you would absolutely toe the line. Trust me,
Shaun.

Unfortunately the worst they can do with said Shiner is try and get some of our money back from whatever of his property he hasn't hidden/disposed of/given to his wife/family. The only reason he is ill is that he's sick he's been rumbled.
The fact that he did what he did to make money persecuting brave soldiers who had put their life/limb/and future well-being on the line makes me sick to my stomach. Personally I think he should be barred from the human race.

His stated reason for not attending the final hearing was that he could not afford a defence lawyer! It is small consolation, but he has been ordered to pay £250,000 costs. I have read that he is being investigated for fraud. If so, then there is a chance he will end up in prison.

In other circumstances, the delicious irony of that would be a rib-tickler. Sadly, political correctness muzzles truth tellers, and equates patriotism with 'fascism', and with all those other "..isms' and misnomer "..phobics" used by the loopy, leftist, champagne socialist elite- to besmirch, and invalidate, our heritage. Pity there's no two-finger emoji here, to express contempt for the namby- pamby, pusillanimous politicians and their pathetic 'victim', and bash-the-white-guy culture. Yes, criminals are the real victims... just for one example, and not those they prey upon. Soldiers mustn't hurt a fanatical enemy combatant, even when he's already been shot to pieces by an Apache helicopter. More to the point: why should you accord 'human rights' to someone who wants to deprive you of yours?...or to a group of nations where 'human rights' are incompatible with their absurd belief systems?
Ok, rant over..
back to the tanks; but my next one might well be in 1:1 scale

Exactly as I thought would happen

I just hope Mr Shiner meets a few of those persecuted squaddies one night in a darkalley, he may have more than a shiner to his name!
