Sabertooth driver 12 Ampx2 review

Just tried this with my current set up and also as a possibility of using in the TCB when released. Saber 12x2 with max 25 amp per motor.
What I did was split the throttle signal with my BARC/TBS to Saber and use that for drive motors instead of RX. My review is they have very fine response..motors (480 promax) have much more smooth power for slow neutral turns, start up etc. Not able to fine tune but a nice addition to my current set up. (They also have overload protection and some adjustment feature built in)

I use the sabretooth ESC in my tracked loader but find the steering mixing isn’t correct. It’s fine in forward and on the spot but in reverse the left and right are the flipped so causes some fun reversing and turning. Is there an option to rectify this? I’ve read through the manual sheet and tried every dipswitch but couldn’t get it working correctly in reverse.

Funny that is happening too and not sure if it can be changed! But I found it almost easier by looking at the back as the front instead of the
mental "I am going backwards" if that makes any sense! What I mostly noticed was the lack of whine and smooth power vs the RX to the 480 motors.

Just tested it again and I must say it drives beautifully..there are few settings with the dip switches that give it great control. Very slow smooth starts and turns and slow strong neutral turn..not the jerky high speed superspin. Even if I could, would not further adjust the movement on it. Reverse is as Tankbear pointed is "flipped" but I do find it easier as it when reversed just drive it with the front now pointing back..more intuitive in my view. Saber 12x2 thumbs up
