Hi guys.

I am in the quest of finding a sound file of the 380 mortar firing for my IBU2 base.

I only have the file provided for the board from new but it does not sound very realistic???

Haven't been able to find in the download section or on the official IBU web page.

If you have a link or even the file, I would be ever so grateful.

Remember the Sturmtiger actually fired a rocket projectile rather the a mortar shell. There is very little film of Sturmtigers in action - in fact I think there is only one. It seems to be more of a woosh than a bang when it's fired. It is quite an odd sound. If anyone can find a good recording, I, too, would be very interested.

Thats right - the only sound I can find is more cannon like than rocket

There is an excellent sound of the rocket for the tk60. Contact Maxmekker maybe he has this sound file available?

I have created one from the IBU files to create a firing and then the rocket flight path sound. Here is the youtube video and if you are interested I can send it to your via email.

Those are both awesome sound files. Max, I'll have to have one of the Clark boards for my Sturm when I get around to building it. You guys might want to consider adding a distant 'BOOM' at the end of the missile flight path. *chuckles*
