Fictional KV-188 and M1A1 Abrams in snow

I took my KV-188 "Super KV" and my M1A1 Abrams to Big Bear Mountain yesterday to try them out in the snow. They ran okay, the KV had a problem with one of its road wheels not rotating as it drove and its tracks kept coming out, the M1A1 Abrams didnt have much problem, it was heavier than the KV so it would sometimes get stuff in softer snow as it sunk in. My KV with my own camo "Fraziercam" really worked well in terms of blending in to the enviroment.

Very nice
I want to mod my kv1 and I like the kv1B German captured one but finding a kv1 B turret is not easy so I was thinking along the same lines as you
Mmmmm Russians captured a knockout tiger and mounted the 88mm gun in the kv1 now that would be interesting but pure fantasy as to my knowledge it never happened and I was not sure how people would take to imaginative thinking but I love what you've done.
Can I ask what set up you're running inside the kv?
Cheers Ben.

Im running the KV with stock electronics and other parts. the only thing thats different is the paint job and the 88 barrel. Alot of my ideas are imaginative, as i want my tanks to stand out. Ill show a example of my ideas.

Pretty sure there's a resin KV-85 turret available. Can't remember where from though.

Just out of vulgar curiosity, how deep was the snow?

Yea there was a fella in Germany selling the kv85 turret through eBay but he no longer lists anything and as I am being a novice making the turret to spec will be a uphill struggle for me so I was thinking more of a what if scenario but I was not sure of the way any one would take that kind of thinking but it's all planning at the mo.

It looks great and as for me I was thinking of getting a ibu-3 electrics and maybe a 12v system to run it as they say it will take up to that power in the ad also it is an adaptable system so you can mix up the sounds it plays so a German gun with kv engine sounds.
It looks like a good piece of kit but not cheap so I'm not rushing in to it
