HL Panzer lll barrel question/advice

Hi All - need some advice please.

I have a P 3 (Heng Long) which I am busy collecting upgrade bits for and mods etc... one I am stuck on is the barrel, it has a metal short barrel currently installed, now I've totally stripped the turret and barrel assembly but for the life of me cannot get the barrel out, I know you get screw in versions as well, so I've tried screwing, pulling, pushing (think you get the message :-< )
How do I get it out?

Also the version I would like to try aim for is the ausf L with the L60 length gun barrel, so second question where can I get one from? I've had a look on interweb and resource articles but not getting anywhere on that front. Was even thinking of the panzer iv barrel, but the muzzle break on the end wont suit the build, unless someone can say that Panzers did have muzzles on the barrel ends?
any ideas welcome.

Thanks
Andy

Is this something like what you are looking for? http://tank-modellbau.de/eng_294/Panzer ... oil-System If not, have a look through the site. They produce a wide range of barrels amongst other things.

Not exactly what I was thinking of, as it has recoil, but now that you've shown me this one :D , guess the bb unit has to go!!
Thanks, that's awesome!

Not sure as I haven't done anything to my pz3's bb barrel. There are small screws that hold the barrel and bb unit together. They may touch the barrel to keep it from unscrewing during normal use. Removing those screws should allow the barrel to be unscrewed from the bb unit but if its the first time it will take a little force to start to unscrew it.

I think they may do a non-recoil version. It's worth a look.

I think you've swayed my opinion lol, that recoil looks nice :D

Looking at the setup of it, I am assuming that my current barrel is more than likely properly glued into place, so maybe ill try tap it out with a small hammer or something?

Can't help you on that. I have not started serious work on mine yet.
