How do you glue white metal so that it sticks? I have tried a variety but nothing seems to work. It's just so that I can firmly attach a machine gun mount to a late version commanders cupola on my Tiger.
Any suggestions?

I tried Zap, but it didn't last long, I might give JB weld a go. I assume that it can't be soldered on??

solder will melt the white metal, I use superglue gel on white metal, it does hold it quite well.

i think it can be soldered with a low wattage soldering iron and low melting point solder

Soldering white metal can be tricky, and you'll need specialist solder - something with a melting point of around 70 Deg, vs 145(ish) for the common electrical solders
(I'm thinking back to the days of 'proper' whitemetal here as opposed to the low/free lead stuff you get these days, so you might need something a little higher temperature)

I took the cowards way out, B&Q sell sticks of metal epoxy that you knead into a ball (there is a core of one compound and an outer ring of another) . I have just tacked the mg on and will see what it looks like in an hour! : )

When i used to make war hammer models, I just used super glue. It held well and took some effort to pull pieces apart once stuck.
