Hey Herman, Tiggr, & Rainford,
Thanks for the complements on my original build. You guys are probably right, I should have left her alone since that was my first tank build.
I guess I should have just bought a new kit to implement the tricks I have learned since 2009, but woulda, coulda, shoulda,...already in the pool so I have to swim

I hope to make this build a good one, I'm sure it won't be as good as "PainlessWolf T1 build, but I will give er my best shot. Looking forward to getting some helpful critism on the site to make me a better modeler and RC builder. Here's some more pics...enjoy

- One of those days...work bench tornado

- One of those days...Clean up crew ASAP

- Hooking up ETO Armor torque monsters test

- Filling Holes & working welds

- Add hole & mark for headlamp mount

- Shell damage above driver port & detail vision block

The original pic is of an early production T1
But the chassis in your last post is of a late variant.....
Have you got a particular tank in mind to model ?

Good Morning, Burger P,
The first tip that I can give you is avoid the trap of comparing your work to anyone else's. You will have your own strengths and ideas about how something should be done. It looks like you are having great fun redoing this Tiger so you've already mastered my second piece of advice. ;o)
regards,
Painless

Morning Tiggr,
Thanks for the response....I guess that was my initial drive to redo this build is I wanted to model mid to late T1. So what I'm shooting for is to model the T1 #322 from s.Pz-Abt. 507...Not sure if this is considered mid or late version, do you know? Oh and i'm trying to find pics of this particular beast so if you know of any, please let me know. Thanks for the help!!
