Any ideas where I could get hold of one of these for the Kv this ones kaput

That's a shame that cast piece broke Jake. Not sure but it might pay to buy a complete donor hull so you can have extra bits. I think the Asiatam site had kv1 metal hulls on sale a while back on clearance. I picked one up for a very low price

I checked and they have a complete Asiatam metal lower hull minus road wheels with minor defect on the plastic hull casing for €21.00 plus shipping! I may order one too for parts

Thought I might have to buy a donor hull, i didn't think to look on the Asiatam site so cheers for the heads up. Shipping to UK is another 20 so works out 40 euro altogether. Bit of bummer considering I only want the one part but cheaper than buying a new taigen one.

worked out at 25 euro plus 19 shipping not so bad and impossible to buy the spare part anywhere. Good for spares in the future too.

Might be a bit late to the party, but I had a couple of the metal suspension arms in my KV hull fracture like that too. Dominique at rctank.de sorted out some replacements for me.
It just seems like crappy casting, the metal looks quite brittle.
