Hello from Canada

Hello,
I have been modelling all my life. I started with aircrafts, then switched to 1/35 armor, then to 1/25, then 1/15 resin armor and finally to 1/16, both RC and static. I like projects where I take new or sometimes used RC junk, enhance them, modify or convert them into new variants. I also like the new static kits coming out in this scale. The brands and offerings from China has made working with this scale affordable. I now have models in my collection that I never thought I could build. I am having some difficulty with storage though. I ended up discarding most of my earlier life work. Attached are pics of some models on the basement shelf. I often check the forum on this site for inspiration and information.
Regards,
Louis

Hello Herman, Here are some pictures of the models you requested.

The Wirberwind is a Juckenberg conversion kit mounted on a Heng Long hull, with Tamiya sprocket and Atak zimmerit. The rear deck is a Juckenberg resin part with Mato doors and was angled down correctly.

The Jagdpanther is basic Heng Long model with side skirts and spare tracks holder from Tank Modellbau. Other small items were added or corrected.

The Jagdtiger is a Matorro model that was completely rebuilt. I did it a few years ago and it was a challenging project. On opening the box, I quickly realized no Jagdtiger should be allowed to remain like this. There would be no half measures to make this right. So, I cut all the armor plates, reworked them individually, re-angled the whole thing, re-enforced the kit, and then reassembled the armor sections from references. The front hatch section was lowered, the side armor made strait, the body was extended (middle section for upper hull, rear section for chassis). I added Tamiya side skirts and other details. But now that the Trumpeter kit is out, there are alternatives to what I did. But it was a most interesting project.

Regards,
Louis

What an excellent collection.
Would a photo study of each one be too much to ask ?

Assuming hes not dead of hyperthermia, should be a breeze !!!
Great examples of how things should be done for sure.
My Matorro JT is not going to be that precise................and they sure are a massive amount of work to get right.
