The mortar crew eventually reported for duty, so here they are.

If anyone has a any idea where I can get more mortar bombs from, I shall be very grateful. I have been through my usual German sources, without success.

nice one mate
some mix on german uniforms though
I think the better way to acquire some more mortar shells is to 3d print them. We will do it sooner or later, i've to take a look and supervise the work of my friend and slave-labourer-3d-designer to see the advances...

It would have been nice to having matching uniforms. I did consider repainting them but decided to leave them for the time being. I may do it later on.

Each time I looked at my model I felt there was something not quite right - something was missing, o I did a bit of investigation into the original and its operation. It had a range of up to 6 km and its bomb was equivalent to a 155 mm artillery shell. This was no local area close support weapon. I concluded it would be more like artillery and therefore its fire would be closely directed. I have accordingly added a field telephone for receiving instructions, and a map so that targets can be better defined.

All it needs now is a plentiful supply of ammunition.

lol. Surprised you didn't include the prototype iPhone...??
See me Sunday about the shells, will see what I can do. Printer is awaiting various bits as I am refurbishing it at the moment before doing any more printing.
New one should be here this week as well, so hours of work to do building that one.
All of my existing scenery has been repaired/repainted, but for the life of me I can't figure out where 2 months have gone?? I have only just finished doing it...

I know the feeling. There was so much I intended to do. Taking stock, I have not achieved much at all, really.
