Anyone know a Harry Bond of Bridport..sold me a full metal tank upgrade kit..on arrival I found that the sprockets were plastic..the same as in the pic he sent me..I called him straight away and told him..he tells me I purchased as seen and if the shop who sold him the kit made a mistake and added the wrong sprockets..then we have both been conned and I just have to keep it..Can you believe this guy..in his mind he thinks he has done nothing wrong and I just have to accept it.

Just so that we can be fully aware of the presence this rc shark lurking in Internet waters, perhaps you could provide more specific details..or even paste a link to products he's selling, or those he's palmed off on you; i.e. the Tank, and the upgrade parts. What model of tank was it, by the way?
That way, we can put him on a 'W A N T E D' (dead or alive :D ) poster. Well, at the very least on our 'rogue traders' list (aka- 'Vendors Blacklist'). Googling: 'David Bond'/ 'Harry Bond' produces no relevant links.
Clearly, his word is not his bond....

Harry Bond / David Bond goes by the name deadly1kenobi or on ebay as idontwantthisanymore now he only has a few DVDs for sale http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Michael-Moore ... 1962711690
I purchased what he said was a new Hobby Engine Abrams which he stated was a tank that had been sat on the shelf but need a new battery..inwanted it to test my painting on..the battery didn't work but I think it was a delay tactic as when I got a new battery it still didn't work..to keep m3 sweet he said he would do me a good deal on a full metal upgrade kit but he swooped the sprockets out for regular plastic ones..he agrees in the picture I sent him back that there the ones he sent but says if I return plastic ones then I'm conning him because his were metal and if they are plastic then the dealer he purchased them from has conned us both..and it's my problem now...His logic is just out there

Open a PayPal case they'll probably side with you, if nothing else it'll put the wind up him.

Open case with ebay and paypal. Slam his rating and make warning posts every where you can think to.

Even if you wind up getting stuck with the plastic stuff and no refunds it'll hold up his money and drag this out as long as possible. If he wants to be an ass proove to him you can too.

A man of many guises, then, eh?
Well, under the 'kenobi' variant I was surprised to find mostly positive feedback on Ebay. Perhaps he has a lot of online 'friends' willing to boost his reputation. That said, fake seller reviews are probably harder to manage on Ebay than they are (or were)
on Amazon. :problem:
Looks like you've just been very unlucky, I'm afraid, Lefty... and it's not been the best of introductions to a new hobby. Anyway, as has been suggested, take out a Paypal claim or contact Ebay.
But do check out the recommended Vendors list before taking the plunge again.
