Has anyone ordered from these guys?
Im looking at the drive bearings, and their track tensioners. Are the tensioners any better than the ones from tankzone?
What's the shipping like from these guys to the UK? I dont undestand a word of German im afraid, lol.
Regards,
Rik

I use 8mmx15mm flanged bearings for my tiger drive shafts get them from RS components or a local bearing supplier

All Positive !
Quick & simple to install
You'll need to remove the existing plastic hull mounts on both sides first ( file smooth) other than that - Brilliant !

Thanks for the pics Anzac.
I like the tensioning bar as well. They look like they could be quite easy to waterproof.
I think im going to go for them, and try the bearings from them as well.

Rik

Good choice

the connecting tension bar adds strength to the rear hull being a bonus for those upgrading with metal addons etc
Sealing the hull axial point should be quite simple & straight forward
I would have gone for the bearing supports too but didn't know the drive shaft OD size I have
ah well next time I guess

They have 2 types, a 7.98mm or 8.06mm, which do you think would be better?

you would need to measure the shaft with a vernier caliper or micrometer to see which size you have
the variation in sizes doesnt seem a lot but it can make all the difference ie wont fit or be to sloppy

the bearings on my tiger are 8.01mm measured with cambridge pins and the shafts were 7.995mm measured with a digital micrometer that reads down to .001mm still had to clean some burrs and high spots on the shaft to get them to fit right
