Post brought this is today. While there is a site that sells 1/35 RC equipment for smaller scale tanks, ( http://35rctank.com/index.html ) I think I will build this one as is. It has rave reviews (especially the tracks) and I can look forward to something simpler in between the complicated stuff. Voyager makes a nice brass set for it that includes all the barrels and there are some great builds of this on YouTube including one by John\Oddball from East Coast Armory. Pics:

Nice looking kit. I'm always jealous of the huge range of armor available in 1/35.

Nice one...I've always fancied having a crack at one of these in 1/16...

Painless this should be a great build. I have collected all the bits for the Mk IV of this same series, but I bought two copies so I can use the motors for independent track movement (buying two copies was easier and probably cheaper than trying to source another motor from Tamiya). I will be using the Tk-35 series Clark board which I am not too sure if it is still available anymore. I had one from previous build.

Looking forward to following this.

The Clark TK35 is still listed on their web site. In fact, it is their recommended board to accompany their conversion kit for the 1/16 38(T).

Morning all,
I would dearly love to see a 1/16 version of this tank, Frank. ;o) The 1/35 RC site has an M113 set up which after a quick look see, would probably fit in the chassis of this one. Whew! I do have enough on my plate tho' I'll super detail it and run it across the counter every now and again to satisfy the kid inside.
regards,
Painless

Here's a link to a scratchbuilt B1 Bis in 1/16. Daunting, but doable. http://www.forum-rc-panzer.com/t4556-B1-bis.htm

Good morning,
That fellow deserves and gets mad props from his fellow builders ( if my Google translate is working aright ) Thanks for the link, Sass!

Painless

For a 'Just for Fun' jobbie, there is a lot of stuff out there for these motorized Tamiya kits. Post came today with this. Pics:
