Metal links

Post by Afrikakorps »

Hi everyone,
I have been comparing different tracks for my Tamiya Pershing and found that the metal HL tracks fit the Tamiya drive sprockets. Taigen/Torro are slightly narrower an do not mesh properly with the Tami drive wheel.
The Tamiya tracks are plastic and have metal joiners, but i find the tracks tend to loose traction and slip. They also wear and scuff easily.

Here is my problem, the overall lengths of the tracks are different. The overal length of the HL track is shorter, and although they come with an extra link, they need 2 more links to fit the Tamiya M26.
So where can I get a couple of metal HL M26 Pershing track links ?
I know it is possible to get small sections of Pzr 111 or iv track, but I can't find any for Pershing.
Any help is much appreciated.
Cheers
