Turnigy TGY-i6 with a Tamiya Sherman

I picked up my new tamiya Sherman yesterday, and after pairing it with my TGY-i6 transmitter I was having trouble getting the gun to fire (channel 3 all the way up) and spent most of yesterday's battles waving the gun elevation at the enemy instead of shooting them. I adjusted the limit of Ch3 to 120% which helped a bit, but it's still not perfect.
Has anyone out there found a way of linking the toggle switches on the TGY-I6 (or FLYSKY equivalent) to the main channels on the transmitter. I'd quite like to fire the gun with a simple toggle switch than to sit waving at the enemy.....

Cheers, Wooly

Follow your manual and calibrate your tamiya electronics, but with the channel 3 move your stick about a 70? up and down. Once finished you can have your cannon and machine gun on the stick.

If you dont like to have it on sticks (i hate it) you need to program your radio to use the switches. I dont have your radio and I can not help you there.

With a computer radio even easier is to calibrate with end point set at 100% and then whack them up to 120% after. However as Rad says channel mixing using a switch is better.
