Hi all, thought that i would introduce myself . Im brand spanking new to RC Tanks and to any kind of forum, so no-doubt ill be picking your brains very soon. Ive just bought 2x WSN T-34's and im currently astheticaly modifying them. I originaly had the WSN tiger as part of the pair but it went horridly wrong after two days. The 2nd tiger lasted even shorter with even more faults, so i got a 2nd t-34 so that i could still my butt kicked by my son!

Welcome! ;D

Sorry to hear about the Tigers, if you'd have gotten here sooner we might have been able to help - I have a spare circuit board for the later WSN's, and a couple of the guys here have the WSN Tiger in their fleets. The T34's are good models, the only thing that lets them down is the poor electronics and gearboxes - both of which can be replaced with varying degree's of difficulty... Most of us have fitted Heng Long electronics to improve their performance and reliability.

There are also a few aftermarket conversion kits out there if you get bored of the T34/85 (M1944) model - Imperial Modelbau offer Su85 and Su100 tank destroyer conversions and Modellino offer a 76mm (M1942) turret conversion.

I hope you find something here thats useful to you,
Cheer's
Mart

Thank you for the welcome Ex-Pat-tanker, funny that you should mention your spare t-34 circuit board, My green t-34 has lost reverse on the left hand track. Ive opened her up and have put a meter across the motor ports and im only getting 6.2v on the left port when using the reverse function, all other voltages are 8.1v. I was a bit gutted about the tiger, out of the two, it was the tiger that i really wanted, but after the two i had broke down, pretty much straight from the box, i got a bit dishartend with them. Ill have to save up for a Hen long....or win the lottery and get a tamiya! althogh im quite taken by HL's new KV-1, ill have to sweet talk the wife.

Hi there welcome aboard  ;D ;D

spare boards ive got one for the T34 as well but you can replace the transistors
although never looked into it as all mine get junked for the H/long boards ;)

but if you want to keep the boards then its a relatively straight forward swap out depends on parts availability though  :o :o and should only cost a couple of quid ;) ;)

kind regards rob

Thanks Rob, not overly confident with messing about with electronics so im not sure if it would be easier to just change the board for now? but thanks for your help. would you consider  parting with your wsn boards or know someone who might?
