I'm asking about how to convert my pershing from a BB to Infer red but notherwise sure what I'll need and how to do it

I'm not sure if it is the 2.4GHz Multifunction Unit also how would I get the gun to depress and raise

This will work with all Heng Long/Taigen MFUs. Not too sure how gun elevation has anything to do with IR ?!?!

The add on kit has all you need to battle with a Heng Long opponent.
As Micheal C said this is a add on kit and the tank function with the BB gun and elevation all stop in place and then this kit adds on to them.
If you want to remove the BB function?
You would then need a Jagpanther Recoil unit and barrel to suit from Forgebear Tanks. which would be a direct replacement for the BB unit.
But this would be a lot more involved due to you having to remove the existing BB barrel and to open out and sleeve the mantle to give you a recoil effect.
