Hi, can anyone tell me how to pair a Matt 6 channel transmitter to an IBU3?

If the transmitter and receiver are bound the you need to plug into the ibu and then calibrate. The wiring diagram and calibration procedure can be found in the excellent manual.

I think you are misunderstanding. You bind a transmitter to a receiver not to the electronic control board - if you bought the two together they will almost certainly be already bound. You then connect the relevant channel from the receiver to the appropriate connections on the IBU3. These connections will be identified in the manual.
