Hi Guy's

Don't get me wrong this is a great online shop, but something's bothering me. I've been buying decals from them recently and I can't work out why they charge me nearly £6 for postage each time, moni travels abroad quite frequently when she sends me something in the post from Europe it costs like 75p for say a card to the UK...so how can these guys charge me £6 :problem:

I think their default for outside Germany is a standard DHL charge. Have you thought of contacting them and asking about sending decals by letter post?

Yes it crossed my mind to contact them, I thought I might sound a little rude asking. Its worth a try tho, I think paying £10 for a set of decals is enough... having the extra £6 added makes them expensive to me.

cheers

Jake

as I understand DHL is the only option in Germany, and I belive these probably are standard rates . Looked into sending a package from Norway, and starting fee is ( for parcel with tracks and trace) is 30 euro. + another 10 pr kg .

An easy way to check the postage is to try the Peddinghaus site, and see what they charge. Alternatively I know that Forgebear and Welsh Dragon both stock decals, so it might be worth giving those guys a try as they are in the UK?

I did a search on Google before I bought my Tiger 222 stencils, and found that, for German armour at least, rctank.de had the best range available of both transfers and stencils.
