Gun recoil turns off sound and makes head lights flash?

Hi

I am having problems with my heng long Tiger, the gun recoil is knocking the sound out and making the head lamps flash? Also the gun flash is not working, it is running on a taigen 2.4 ghz board tigen turret and 5000mah 25-30 2s lipo that has no problems propelling my hpi bullet brushless monster truck. The problem goes away when I disconnect the 2 pin seperate plug on the turret harness.

Any help would be much appreciated as I'm stumped!

try the battery connection as sometimes they are loose and when the tank jumps it breaks the connection

Thought that was the issue but have just fitted new deans connectors, however I disconnected the drive motors and the fault went away, so think a a power surge when the motors start is problem on recoil

Taigen creates the hull recoil with a power surge to the motors and they are drawing so much power that it is browning out the MFU. The sound didn't go or the headlight is fine. Your whole tank is being reset that's all. Once you figure out why the hull recoil is browning out the MFU then you would be fine.

Did you upgrade the motors ?

Hi No standard motors I also tried it with tracks off and it still did it? Which totally threw me as there is no load

Does it still do it if you unplug the motors ?

No its fine when they are un plugged

So its probably the power draw from the motors. Trying plugging them one at a time and maybe you can see if there is a faulty motor.

With only one motor connected (left or right) it worked fine .
