Well while I'm waiting on stencils for my Tamy Tiger I thought I'd make a start on my JT ,This morning I got it stripped ,sanded , glued and filled, and a base coat of dunkengelb, was a bit strange to find cracks in the hull but I have sorted that .
Bits removed::: cut out stock TORRO gun support ground back filled and sanded, I did not want to remove all the fenders 1 it's a pretty big job and also so many have Allready been done like this,
So I just removed the front fenders to toughen the look of the JT up.
So this JT is not going to be a massive build, Paint, Ludwigs Gun Support,Elmod Fusion Pro, Uprated Speaker, and some Uprated Gearboxs as these JTs are seriosly heavy, in time maybe swap over to servos.

Looking fw to follow this one . as soon as my Panther is done , I'm all over my JT again. Got a few parts for also , while working on the panther. so eager to get it up and running .

what gearboxes are you thinking of installing ? Hope the elmod will support the DKLM-RC gearbox down the road (software support) , coz that's the best upgrade I've done to mine . Runs like hot knife in butter

Painting skills aside, I wish I had such a spacious and orderly working area! Mine looks like the aftermath of a hurricane hitting it. -Mike

I saw the cracks up front. The Taigen/IMEX site has a "Scratch and Dent" section, I've seen three or four Jagtigers there with cracks in nearly the same place. You did a nice job on the repairs.

Just a little pre shading today it's a little heavy so will probably go over it again.

The plastic there is very thin they need to go to a metal upper I think personally.
