Well about got the ibu2 pro worked out. Question now is, why does my tank move at a slower speed forward than reverse? Seems like a 50% difference between the two.

It's specifically adressed in the Manual for the IBU 2 pro. Look at the end at the "Faq."
You got the motor connections the wrong way around and compensated that with the servo-reverse on Your transmitter, hence the odd behaviour. The IBU gets confused if one does that.

No!!!
I will put that ridículus legend to rest forever!
It was "Slow forward...enemy sighted..Sparare!...SPARARE!! *kroik*..nothing. . and then the crew leaving the tank in desperation. Tanks scrapped became Alfa sud's, that -after scrapping, became Citroëns..

So what you're saying is the +/- of the wires to the motors on the IBU is backwards from the +/- on heng long board and I should switch them around. Got ya. I just plugged them in like on the original board.

In reading the manual yet again, I have not found where it states that these are reversed from the heng long board. It says to just plug them as they were.
