RC Tank Warfare community hobby forum

I'm fairly new to this hobby, (only previously owned an WSN Tiger) However after much research I've decided I'd like one of the near all metal Taigen Tiger 1's. Now after carefully reading the good and bad vendors lists on this site I'm drawn towards RCTank.de. Now I've seen a tank, have spoken with Dominique and have been informed that the one I'm interested in is a special build and is solely for his company, however the tank is not cheap at 399 Euro!
Now I don't doubt his word, but clearly being a newbie I just wanted to make sure that these tanks aren't available elsewhere for less, and are what they say on the tin. Certainly this Tiger seems to have all the latest spec, but I don't know if this is current, or would I need to upgrade anything to bring it up to date? I just want a nice tank with all the toys, as I don't have a lot of time to modify or upgrade as another hobby takes priority at the moment. (and funds)

I take it is is the one with the gun barrel recoil ? That would justify the higher price.

I love my Taigen mostly metal Tigers, the only thing missing for me is the gun barrel recoil, otherwise they tick all the boxes.

Might de worth putting the exact model in a search on eBay and Amazon just to make sure on the price.
(I found a Jagdtiger on Amazon for £40 less than the competition.
