Hi there guys and gals.

My name is Si and I reside in the UK. Have made models for many, many years and was into RC boats. However, my disability caused some boats to be dropped and unable to be repaired-this got rather expensive and demoralising so I packed it in-although I did buy a tug boat to do up-couldn't help it :D

I wanted something RC, my hands and arms are very painful and cramp so anything too fast was out of the question-then I found the RC tanks, perfect!

I shall of course get some piccies up of mine in due course but first time to have a look at the forum.

Some of the newer people who seem unable to cope with the written word will I am sure look forward to your Photographs :/
Please ask questions and most of all enjoy your Forum.

G'day Mr Solo(I guess your one of Han's relations!)
Nice of you to join us for your convalescence !
Tanks are a good option for physical impairment, but not so good by creating a fiscal one :/
As Mr Jarndice says, pictures are gooderer than our spelling & gramer , so once you get your hardware bought & begin to make alterations to a perfectly good ready to go model- we want to see it along the way

Mr solo...

I came upon the tank interest because of spending three months in the hospital and knew when I got out,
I really needed something physically constructive to do.
Welcome.
I am as new to this as you.

To be honest... these guys here are serious about the builds and the history of these tanks.

Just build your models and enjoy your finished products.
The only thing left for me to get back on track is my legs. Can't walk yet.
You will progress and get better.

Good luck and have fun.

Von Steiner
