Hello New boy needs some advice please ( I'm 66 by the way )

I have just bought my first RC tank a a long time it's not in the same league as some of the folks on here have but it's a start
and for the price I think I'm happy my question is did I make a mistake we looked for a small Tiger around £200 or less :S
I know that they are some fantastic Tanks out there but we wanted a small ish one
looking at the instructions there a right pain I could not work out how to get the tank to fire and I'm sure that the charger they include in the box is duff I have a few photos of it and the out put voltage is way below what it should be and the RC antenna will not stop on :problem:
when I rang up
All I got go to the there internet site I have completed there form and now await a reply don't these people ever speak to there customers

can some please explain how to reduce my photos to on with this forum

ps if I'm out of line ref the name of the company sorry

there's an old saying A Shy boy gets no Sweets

Stewart,
Welcome to the Forum. If you want a nice, well running 1/24 scale Tiger 1 with excellent, big scale tank features, look online for one by either Tokyo-Marui or VS Tanks. I hope you get your funds back and can invest in something to give you hours of fun with no worries about non functionality.
regards,
Painless

this one goes quite well but I'm in two minds wether to return it I just would like a camouflage small Tiger
I can buy a big TIGER from Banggood for a few pounds more but it's to long to wait and to big and blue :)
when I work out what to do with my photos you will see then that got e back into Tanks it's nothing fancy and it has a motor with gears in side but nothing else :)

Just to say that Nitrotek take at least a week to respond to tickets that you raise via the site.

I am just curious as to why you would go for a 1/24th scale if you have a budget of £200? You could buy any tank in the Heng Long 1/16 scale range for a lot less than that, and it would be rather more fun. If you can, get them to accept it back for a refund, and then buy a 1/16 scale, you won't regret it. There are plenty of places that sell them, and they are all way better than Nitrotek.

Heck with £200 you could probably snag the Tamiya tiger that's on eBay currently. If your going small scale the vs tank range are decent especially if you can get the ones with proportional control. Tbh the tiger you have is a stable hybrid of tiger top and yank running gear

I have bought three tanks from Nitrotek to date. All were Taigen metal ones - I had no problems with them. The quality of the tanks is excellent. I bought two Tiger 1s (early and late) and a King Tiger all at 1:16 scale. Prices were £229 for the T1s and £219 for the KT. The T1s now cost £239
My experience of Nitrotek has been nothing but very good but some folk have had problems it would seem. Here is my late T1 lurking in my garden.....

as for the scale it was more the space in our home.
at least now I know what buttons to press to fire the the thing and the recoil looks good
I do think that it's more toy like than some I have seen ;) as for the price I could have waited 3 weeks and got a 16 scale from Banggood :) some times I'm like the boy in the sweet shop ;) want one now
By the way the tracks on that other Tank are very free
I was thinking about how to get it going but thought better and bought the small TIGER the person who gave me this one has two in Camouflage but would not part with one I know why but that's that :)

I don't think that I will run it on a field etc from what I hear they are not so good but it's a TIGER 1 so it says ;)
I do or would like it painted I'm hopeless at such as for the better ones.
I really was looking at the Tiagen or what ever the spelling is :{
they had some in camouflage but they were all 16th scale
nice photo by the way

I hope that I am OK putting my photos in my post

I'm not sure on the messaging thing but I will reply to everyone

please feal free to say some thing if you like my photos or Not
