I have decided to hold off on the 1/16 R/C next build.
I need to brush up (pun intended) on my painting, chiping, weathering, oil/grease applications.
What I did was pick up a 1/35 plastic Leo 2A6 unbuilt and can use it as a test mule.

Going to get an air brush.
Don't want to build another one (four channel Tamiya Leo 2A6) without a good feel for making it
look a lot better than this Sherman. I enjoyed every minute of the build. It was fun. No hic-cups.

Definately looks different!

I would have got a few cans of Matt black spray paint and some SWAT stencils/lettering.

I'd deffo think twice before getting a leopard, not an easy build compared to the Sherman.

I agree.
The SWAT logo in in the mail and it would have looked better in matt black.
I just needed something to build and this worked.
I rushed it but really had fun.
Going to back up and punt on the next one.

Hi von steiner its not best to rush our builds as we always look back and think I wish I did it this or that way. Like others have mentioned mate the matt black would work loads better. But all the same a nice build. I love my Sherman tanks and will be starting on the pro version next.

I Agree about the Matt Black, but still you've done a great job and I admire your GOING FOR IT attitude ! The main thing about any hobby is that you enjoy it..........and you certainly have :D And as the other guys have said............your Sherman looks great

sure a couple of coats of matt vanish would calm it down a little...
