Evening All, just after some advice going to we weathering some metal tracks in the next week or so so have a couple of questions.

1 Is it best to do the 2 tracks separate ie in 2 different tubs?
2 & Do I buy 2 bottles of the 'gun metal bluing liquid' 1 for each track?
3 Do I 'Blue/Weather' the Idlers & Sprockets or paint same as the wheels?

All Input Greatley Received ;D ;D

Hi Pete
One bottle of gun blue will do both tracks,no need for separate tubs one will do.
I paint the sprockets and idlers the same as the wheels.
Hope that helps
Del

After you get the blued finish you want, you can use wire wool to rub off the high points if you like the bare metal look you get on tracks where they touch the road surface or let it wear naturally.
