Hi Everyone,

I will post a few photos from my build now and I"ll post more as soon as I have more progress to share. This tank will be for sale when its completed. I have a few more M5's to build if there is enough interest.

Out with the old ESC and controls and in with the new dual ESC setup. 1/6 M5 Stuart compared to my 1/16th Tamiya M4 Sherman. First test run in Newport, RI on Eastons Beach. I ran the tank that day with the upper hull just sitting in place. Mounting bracket for the airsoft gun that also has recoil, but it hasn't been installed at the time these photos were taken. Now a couple photos with the upper turret half in place. The 1/16th M41 gun barrel is just to show the elevation. Since these photos were taken I have made an aluminum M5 gun barrel for the airsoft gun using aluminum tubing. I turned the taper on a Harbor Freight Hobby lathe I have. Feel free to comment whether good or bad.

OK, I fixed the video's. This site is similar to the ship model forum and I'm glad the photos can be simply uploaded from my computer which is much better than a blog site I used to be a member of.

Here's one more video showing my aluminum gun barrel with the recoil servo fully installed and working. I'm very happy the way everything has turned out so far.

This video was done on a small beach inside Fort Adams in Newport, RI the same day. This place is somewhat sheltered from the wind at Eastons beach.
