I waited until I had both volumes of this set to post a thread. You absolutely cannot underscore enough the value of having a pictoral record of some of the rare armor to be found in these books. Covering the Allied presence in the European theater of War from D-Day til the End of the Reich, these books give a vast record of armor both Allied and German. I cannot count the number of times I have said while reading: "So that's the picture that they took the inspiration for ________ model kit from." Expensive at nearly 50.00 US apiece, these can be found at half that with some time spent online and searching. Zaloga's work is essential for any serious Hobbyist's library of armor. Pics:

It struck me that: "This particular vehicle has an armored cover around the turret opening." just like MATO's recent offering. ;o) I recall that there was some doubt as to it's actual provenance.
